Kenyan YouTuber, influencer and MCee Oga Obinna has finally shared details of what led him to lose his first YouTube channel dubbed ‘Obinna TV’ a channel he claims was generating millions.

Speaking in an with digital creator Vickie Vickinah, Obinna opened up on why he has not been getting any penny from the YouTube channel and that simply because he signed a ‘promising’ deal without consulting his lawyer.
“I have not been making money for the Obinna show live for about 6–7 months. I signed a deal with the devil. I’ll not get into details, but that is just what happened.” Obinna shared.
Having lost rights to his Obinna Live YT, his legal team hence stepped in making it possible to regain the channel. He how said the experience taught him better – which is why he now has several YT channels operating in his name.
Obinna’s advice to Content Creators
Still on the same, Obinna advised all content creators to be keen on matters regarding contracts no matter how good the deal sounds.
“It is direct, indirect advice to all content creators: own your sh***t and don’t sign any contract without letting a lawyer go through it. I made the mistake a couple of months ago, and I have suffered a great deal.” Obinna shared.

Obinna’s New Channel
Obinna opened a new channel labeled ‘Obinna TV Extra’ that currently has 290,000 subscribers compared to his original one, ‘Obinna TV’ that has over 500,000 subscribers. Inasmuch as Obinna didn’t go into details, he disclosed that the channel used to make millions but he could almost get nothing out of it because of the mistake he made.
