Obinna Explains Why Investing in Mansions at Rural Areas is not a Wise Idea

Kenyan media personality Obinna Ike Igwe has shared why it is not advisable to invest back at home.

Comedian Obinna

Speaking during an interview with our very own journalist Silva kido, he said that despite being among the first people to invest at home, it is a decision he really doesn’t see value in.

He said that it doesn’t make sense when one builds at home and stays in Nairobi as it is a waste of funds because it will not serve you as much.

“Most of the time, building a house in the village is the wrong investment because you are never there.

So you built this house, you put 5 to 10 million in it, and you are never there?”

As far as he told people to consider building, they should not invest much in it to the point that it creates a lot of attention from society, who might start questioning your source of income and create unnecessarily attention. Especially from the parents.

“Built put, don’t just put big money… If you have excess money, do it. If you don’t have, you’d rather build somewhere close by where you can live and still not pay rent.”

He encouraged people to consider building in the area where they reside so that the investment serves them.

This comes after Kenyan comedian Mulamwah was seen building a home at his rural home, which is not a wise decision as it will not serve him as much because he will be commuting occasionally, hence another inconvenience.

Obinna hinted that, as for him, he has pretty much mapped his life and the things that he plans on doing, something he has urged people to consider emulating by mapping their lives.
