The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has announced improvements to its online portal, making it easier for Kenyans to locate uncollected driving licenses and number plates.
The new system allows individuals to search for their uncollected driving licenses using only their Identity Card number. Previously, a registration process was required. This simplified approach aims to expedite the process and reduce inconvenience for the public.
To find uncollected number plates, Kenyans can now use their vehicle’s registration number. The portal will then provide information on the location where the documents can be collected.

NTSA has also introduced a platform to address complaints and concerns related to smart driving licenses and number plates. Users can provide their email addresses when submitting complaints, allowing for efficient communication and resolution.
This update follows a recent announcement by Huduma Kenya regarding a large number of uncollected driving licenses. The government agency urged Kenyans to collect their documents from designated centers across the country.
