Speaking via her Instagram Stories, Njambi called out the organizers behind the Pulse Influencer Awards, accusing them of exploiting her image without proper compensation.
According to Njambi, the awards ceremony, which celebrates the influence of online creators, has failed to fairly acknowledge the contributions and rights of some of its participants, her included.
“Pulse Awards used me and our platform because I have a different audience than what they’re used to. But you know what? It is okay; one day the narrative will be changed.” Part of Njambi Fever’s statement read:
Njambi went on expressing her disappointment with the event organizers, making it clear that she doesn’t want them to ever associate her brand with theirs.
“I don’t care how they announce results, and I’m asking that Pulse Awards should never ever nominate me in anything. Forever!
Be in next year. Be it in 5 or 10 years time, no matter how long it takes, the narrative will change.” Njambi’s statement read:
