Digital Creator and Mulamwah’s ex-girlfriend Carol Sonnie has finally shared the reason why she took a social media hiatus—an unexpected situation considering a person of her status who is fond of creating content and connecting with her fans more often.

Carol said the reason behind it all is because she was going through a tough time that was making it hard for her to concentrate on what she loved doing.

“I was confused; I didn’t know what I wanted, and then I was not in a position to do anything because a lot was happening, and I felt like if I did something, then I would sit down and focus, and I wouldn’t achieve what I wanted to achieve. I think I took like a 2-year break.” Carol Sonnie explained.

She confirmed that she took a 2-year break to try and recollect herself and understand what she really wanted, and this was not easy, as she also revealed that she had to see a therapist who walked her through the process of healing considering she had been hurt and needed a shoulder and someone she could at least be open to, if not confide in.

She thanked her therapist, saying the session helped her understand why she was going through what she was going through thanking Comedian Nasra Yusuf for standing with her and seeing that she got the help she needed.

“Therapy put me back together. I am so glad, actually, Nasra. By the way, ndio alinisaidia, nilikua nachizi naamka napata nimetrend nashangaa nimedo? All that was affecting me mentally, and I didn’t know what or who to go to, but I reached out to Nasra; she helped me; she paid for the therapy.” Carol Sonnie said.

The Root of her Stress

The source of her stress, as shared by her, came from social media, cyberbullying, and the humiliation that she claimed became too much for her, messing with her mental health and everything.

The good news is that Carol now knows how to handle such matters that were a problem back then.

She lastly asked bullies to stop being mean, urging them to be kind and love one another, and advising those who are being bullied to not take matters personally and take one thing at a time.
