Kenyan uprising arbantone artist Tipsy Gee is commonly known for his collaborative viral song ‘TikToker’ and his very own sound track, ‘Taki Nataki’, has openly revealed the reason that made him drop out of school.
The young, talented artist said that his decision to drop out of school comes after he went live on the TikTok app and realized that he can actually generate up to 30,000 ksh on a single day.

Nikaanza kumiss classes polepole, vile semister iliisha nikaamua sirudi hiyo shule.” Tipsy Gee said.
Having seen how much he was making from TikTok, he made a proposal to his mother, telling her that she allows him to try venture into the entertainment industry and see how it will turn out, accepting to go back to school if he fails in the entertainment industry.
“Niliambia mum, si ulioniona kwa TV? Mimi nimekua searious na hii kitu, masomo kidogo wacha tujaribu hii ingine, ikikataa niko ready kurudi shule.” Tipsy Gee shared.

Just after getting in the entertainment space, he ended up getting the support he wished from fans and decided to move out of where he originally used to live with his mother and relocate to another area just within the city, an area he said was better off compared to where he was. This was all to prove to his mother that he actually chose well and she should never doubt him.
He went on pushing his name and performing in shows, something that helped him establish his fanbase. He is currently among the few emerging artists that are doing well, having released songs that have over 1 million views on his YouTube channel.
