Nigerian artist Spyro has opened up on his decision to go celibate, in other words, practice celibacy.

For starters, celibacy is the state of abstaining from any form of sexual relations.

The popular Nigerian artist Spyro openly shared that the reason behind him resorting to go celibate is backed with enough personal facts that he wouldn’t want to compromise. One of the main reasons behind him doing so was because he always felt troubled and haunted each time he had s**x with someone because then the person wasn’t rightfully his and he wasn’t married to them, and what that meant is that he was simply fornicating because all he was doing was sleeping with someone who he was not married to legally.

“S*x felt good until I could no longer bear struggling with my conscience. Every time I ‘fornicated’ knowing I wasn’t married to the person, I felt troubled, like a part of me got taken right after.” Part of Spyro’s statement read:

Spyro admitted that he had trouble cutting ties with the act because of how deeply he had gotten attached to it, and it is even worse when he has to go perform because he encounters die-hard fans, more so ladies who are always trying to convince him otherwise,Nonetheless, he managed to have the guts to disengage and has made a bold personal decision to keep the bed for one.

“I struggled for a while, but I kept praying for strength, and when the time came, I disengaged from all lingering connections at the time… It hasn’t been easy, especially when I travel and these clean girls begin to get funny around me, and promoters never make it easy too, but now they know, but yeah, I am keeping this bed for one now.” SPY wrote on his Instagram page.
