NRG Radio Presenter Natalie Githinji (26) speaks about why she ditched her boyfriend that she had dated for 8 months.
Speaking during an interview with Obinna, she said that she had been with him because she was desperately in need of a shoulder to lean on and not because she wanted a man in her life.
She later said that she decided to ditch the man because of three things that she disclosed:
“Nilikua na mashida mingi mpaka nilikua nataka mwanaume wa kukaaa. Alikua ananuka mdomo, mechi iko chini na ananuka miguu huyu ni yule haupeleki kwa crowd. It was baaaad.” Natalie added.
She said that the man was her responsibility as the guy wasn’t employed, and she used to pay all the bills all by herself. At first, she felt like it was okay, but as time went by, she decided to dump him because there was nothing the man was doing right, and she decided to break up with him.
“8 months later..ilibidi nimdanganye nimerudi kwetu,” natalie added.
Despite the challenges the man had, she commended him for being a hard worker because he could at times surprise her with small things and money that he had hustled genuinely.
According to Natalie, Nairobi is not a place where one can get a spouse because people staying in the city are least interested in serious commitment relationships. She has tried a couple of men, but it has never worked in her favor. She is currently single and is still trying to find her match.
