Following Njambi Koikai’s death, radio personality Natalie Githinji has shared her request to the president of Kenya.
Njambi passed on a week ago after battling endometriosis for years.
Endometriosis is a disease in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. It can cause severe pain in the pelvis and make it harder to get pregnant. Endometriosis can start at a person’s first menstrual period and last until menopause.
Natalie Githinji is also battling the deadly disease.
Taking to her Instagram, she shared a video of herself in hospital during her first surgery.

A day like this, 3 years ago, i underwent my first endometriosis surgery. Yoooo!!! nilikaa 3 hrs na mu mum thought ni surgery ya 1hr…. sema mathee kupanikiii…😅😅 She’ll give her side of the story soon. The way she thought i had died and the doctors hawakua wanataka kumwambia, simply because i took long kwa hiyo surgery room….si mchezo walai….Ladies with endometriosis fight for their lives every month imagine. It’sad but God is in control….🎗️🎗️🎗️

She continued to request even citizens to create awareness on endometriosis and help those suffering from it.

Following Njambi’s untimely death, she is set to be buried on 14th this month.
