Okello Max has been dropping love songs left, right and center making him one of the most loved artists from this generation. This is following his craft whereby he puts in heartfelt lyrics, explaining love from an angle many want to experience it from.

But despite it all, turns out that Okello Max has also had a share of what a heartbreak feels like. The singer revealed this while participating on ongoing social media challenge ‘I knew they didn’t like me when…’

Speaking to Pulse, Okello Max opened up to reveal how one of his exes – the one he loved most – started sidelining him, making it hard to maintain a normal conversation between them.

According to Okello Max this became obvious after his ex girlfriend started replying using one word text….an obvious change from their communication pattern.

“I knew she did not like me when she started replying to my texts with one word replies,” Okello Max revealed.

Red Flags

According to Okello Max, the changes happened abit too fast making it obvious that their was trouble with his relationship….but problem is – he did not know what he had done to receive the cold treatment.

Reason why I knew that is because earlier, we used to write to each other paragraphs but now (towards the change) if you looked at our chat history you could see the green side (my side of the texts) are more than these other ones za white (which is her side of the texts, Okello went on adding;

I’d just be there making noise alone and during such times I would get one letter texts. She did not even reply to the messages with okay, she would just write the letter K only. With that I decided to call myself to a small meeting and process all that is going on with his love life. I told myself, young man respect yourself, Okello said.

Although this happened a few years back, Okello remains grateful for the character development as it paved way for him to find the perfect woman who is now the mother to their two girls.
