Mwai Kibaki’s Grandson Sean has talked about his experience with online dating apps.
Speaking during the launch of Vesha Okello’s Business launch at the Promenade, he said that he left the dating sites because what was happening there was that they were having rubbish interactions.
“Because they were rubbish interactions, let’s be honest.”
Saying that he would rather meet one in person so that they can connect with them and understand all five senses instead of just relying on the dating app.
Asked why he joined the app, he said that he joined it out of peer pressure. He also shared his relationship status, saying that he is in no hurry to search for a partner at the moment as he is busy building his own legacy.
He also talked about the signature dreadlocks that he initially had, disclosing that the reason he brought them down was because the dreadlocks had negative confrontations that came with them.
Adding that people should judge others based on the way they look and consider them all equal
“We are all people; you shouldn’t judge a book by its appearance. People always label people as weirdos or whatever. I don’t believe in the concept of weirdness.
I think many people are misunderstood, and we should have a little bit more openness when it comes to understanding each other.”
