Kenyan businesswoman Murugi Munyi appears to have been fortunate to walk out alive from a situation that she never thought she could.
Murugi, who broke the news via her social media, narrated how she ended up in the hands of thieves when she had gone to get some bites with her friends along Ronald Ngala Street, located in Nairobi, Kenya.
The incident happened so fast that she wasn’t even able to react back, considering that she was also female and has never been in such a position.
“Y’all, it happened so fast but so hard. I was literally so confused that the Boda guys all stopped to check that I was okay, which I was, except that my neck hurt, my chain broke, and my pendant fell somewhere.”
According to Murugi, the thief was going for her neck chain, but didn’t manage to steal it because, the chain got stuck in her hair, making the guy flee to avoid being caught. However this caused some serious damage on her neck.
“The chain broke but got caught in my hair, so he wasn’t able to take it. I’m so sad it’s broken, but I’m glad I still have it. Unlike my pendant, both are pure gold and mean so much to me.” Murugi wrote on her status, narrating the dreadful experience.

Way Forward
She made up her mind from that incident that she was never going to ever return to town again, and upon reaching home, she showered for hours trying to think about why the thief decided to do what she did to her. The fact that her pendant was stolen still hurts.
