Kenyan Content Creator and founder of Wild known as Murugi Munyi has called out the Nairobi County Government for not living to their word.
Speaking through her social media page she said that she has been frustrated by the County Government for failing to deliver as it had initially promised residents before getting into power.
Her argument is based on the fact that the County Government isn’t supporting the small scale business despite encouraging people to venture into them and assuring them that they will walk with them.
“Doing Business in Kenya is such a frustrating thing.
I can completely understand why small scale business are crumbling down because we have a County Government that consistently keeps saying how committed they are to supporting small scale business….. But then they don’t act like it.”
She went on expressing her frustrations, the fact that her employees were harassed and they hadn’t done anything wrong.
Their arrest was based on the fact that the premises they were in, was not adhering with the County Rules and Regulations.
She clarified her claims saying that she doesn’t have anything wrong with the County officials checking in their shops to confirm if they have business permits or not, the only problem is that they harass the workers when doing so, something that hasn’t sat well with her and has called out to the County Government to consider working it out.
