Comedian David Oyando, popularly known as Mulamwah and Ezekiel Mutua the CEO of Music Copyright of Kenya, earlier today ended their one year feud.
“Yesterday we met with Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, we spoke and squared our differences. We are now best pals. Hatchet buried. Looking forward to working with MCSK in the near future as promised. Asante bro,” wrote Mulamwah.
The comedian mentioned mending their feud after meeting at the Marwa Music Awards at Nairobi cinema.
Mulamwah last year blamed Ezekiel Mutua for failing to fulfil his promises when he was the CEO of the Kenya Film Classification Board.
Last year that is 2021, the comedian pledged the then CEO of Kenya Film and Classification Board to be appointed as one of the clean content ambassadors, however, Mr. Ezekiel seemed to differ.
“Hellow sir, Ezekiel Mutua it’s almost a year since your promise, did you mean it or you were just tweeting for the moment, or am I “inaccessible?” If the GVT cannot help us as a youth, then please don’t instil false hopes in us, it’s better you leave us to suffer in peace.”
Mr. Ezekiel responded to Mulamwah saying he wasn’t a fit after doing a background check on him.
“Bro, my little token of support was personal, not Govt. sorry if it gave you a false sense of entitlement. We did a background check on you and you didn’t fit the “Clean Content Ambassadors” bill. We do not support filth & bad manners. Content does not have to be dirty to sell!” said Mutua.
However Mulamwah still didn’t seem contented by his response so he continued,
“I don’t do dirty content, the token, I think, was for me to do for you a personalized video thanking you then I post on my socials when I included others who helped rejected it,” continued Mulamwah.
The boat has however sunken as the feud is now over, the comedian also posted a picture of his Mpesa cash that he had received from Ezekiel Mutua.
