Political activist and leader of the Inject Party, Morara Kebaso, has finally been released and took the opportunity to narrate his jail experience to his supporters, who were eagerly awaiting for him.

Speaking from the comfort of his house in Kahawa Sukari, where his offices are, he narrated how him being detained worked in his favor.
According to Morara Kebaso, he met his fans in the cell, and his short time in prison was amazing, as described by him.
“Waliponiingiza pale ndani kwa cell, nilipatana na fans, nilibambika aje! Nakuambia hadi walevi walikua sober, tulianza kupiga story hadi sisi wenyewe tukaskizana.” Morara Kebaso said.
What Morara Kebaso was accused of
Morara Kebaso was charged with cyber harassment contrary to Section 27 of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrime Act 2018.
According to the charge sheet drafted on Tuesday, October 1, the lawyer had been accused of tarnishing and discrediting the reputation of businessman David Langat.
The charge sheet pointed out that Kebaso shared false information on his X account on September 28, 2024, with intentions of tarnishing the billionaire’s reputation.
This however appears to have been dismissed as Morara Kebaso read an article out loud published by Citizen Tv that said Langat had nothing to do with his arrest. “Alaa, Citizen tv, Business man David Langat says he has nothing to do with Morara Kebaso’s arrest.” Morara Kebaso read it out loud to his supporters.

What Morara Kebaso will do If he becomes President
Through a brief interview with a local media channel, Morara Kebaso opened up on what he would do if he were president, saying he would ask the public to spare him an year to curb corruption in the country.
“Ningekua Rais wa Kenya, for one year ningeambia Wakenya musiniombe barabara, maji any development because hiyo one year ni ya kudeal na corruption alafu pia no retirement to all government officials kama hujarudisha pesa.” Morara Kebaso shared.
He also promised the public that if he became president, he would release all petty offenders detained in prison.
