A police officer aware of the incident stated that they were interrogating him over the chaos witnessed at Bomas.
Morara claimed that he was arrested over claims of disrupting the public participation event on the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua last Friday at the Bomas.
“I have been arrested over what happened at Bomas. Can you imagine? Can you imagine? Does it even make sense, Jamani? What is this now? Ni nini hii? Ah,” he stated on his X account.
It is alleged that Morara Kebaso was inciting or rather disrupting the gathering by chanting ‘Kufa Dereva, Kufa Makanga’, a viral word that has been trending across all social media platforms.

The above said place is where activist Morara Kebaso was attacked forcing him to run out of the hall with the help of good Samaritans this is after attendees of the meeting started throwing chairs and other objects in his direction.
Despite Morara sustaining a couple of injuries he confirmed that he was recuperating well, he also shared the reason why he was arrested and even attacked at the Bomas despite siding with those impeaching Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
“In my Team the NIS placed a mole along time ago, I have a mole in my team… even when I was arrested there was a call made from this office to DCI that I am here, when DCI came to this office for an arrest they didn’t guess they didn’t look for an office they came direct to my office as if they had the plan and layout.
I had announced my position on my TikTok and Twitter that we impeach both the President and Deputy President and having done that there were people who were uncomfortable with that.” Morara Kebaso shared.
