Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko’s Facebook Account has been disabled following his remarks about the LGBTQ Community.
Mike Sonko used what has been termed as offensive words that went against the terms and conditions of the Facebook, which then went ahead and blocked his account.
Mike Sonko took to his social media earlier today and told his fans that he is not going to apologize to them, as he has traffic elsewhere and cares less on what might happen.
“Hawa Masonga wa LGBTQ wako na nguvu.Wamecomplain to FB mpaka my page of 2,500,000 followers ikakuwa disabled till I apolgise to them.Hapa tweeter muko 2,300,000 followers & still growing like Bush fire.ALUTA CONTINUA”
As it stands, Mike Sonko has said he will not be moved and doesn’t think he will take back what he said.
The LGBTQ Community gained favor of the court as it ruled in their favor, saying that they shouldn’t be denied access to things that can also be given to other people as they are also humans and are entitled under the law as well.
This is what made a lot of people upset and quite the majority of them started advocating that these kinds of people shouldn’t be allowed to stay in the country as their code of conduct is so bad. This was even backed up by the president of Kenya William Ruto and his deputy president, Rigathi Gachagua who said that they will not accept to go against their tradition and culture by allowing this and promised to bring an end to this law.
