Mike Sonko offers Ksh 200,000 for Njahmby’s send-off (Video)

A reggae tribute night was held on Wednesday, June 12th, at Quiver Lounge to celebrate the life of Njambi “Jahmby” Koikai. Known as a passionate reggae MC, Jahmby was hailed as a warrior who will be dearly missed.

A portrait of Jahmby graced the entrance, accompanied by candles and flowers, serving as a touching memorial for the entertainer who brought joy to reggae fans for years.

Many celebrities attended the event, including Mike Sonko, Sandra Dacha, Nick Kwach, Aicy Stevens, Jacky Vike, Churchill, and many more. Each took a moment to remember Jahmby.

Sonko’s gift

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko showed up dressed in proper reggae outfit and artificial dreadlocks.

Sonko particularly warmed the hearts of the crowd as he offered Ksh 200,000 for Njambi’s send off.

”Hii ni two hundred thousand!,” he stated while holding the money in cash.

Njahmby’s medical bill

This tribute night was one of several events held to honor Jahmby’s life. Friends and family are also gathering at the All Saints Cathedral to plan her funeral.

The family has also made a public appeal for financial assistance with Jahmby’s medical bills and funeral.
