With the video making rounds on social media, Michelle has since landed several interviews as Netizens express interest in knowing her.
So far Michelle Akoth has spoken to Dr Ofweneke in a detailed interview done at TV47, where she opened up about herself and source of inspiration for her content.
Speaking about the viral ‘Nirudishie change yangu‘ video, Michelle Akoth revealed this was from a person experience.
It all started after the conductor collecting fare in a matatu she had boarded started ignoring her when asking for her change back. Nimekaa kwa gari naambia conductor, the guy anaignore namwona akishuka, Michelle told Dr Ofweneke adding, Nikasema huyu ananichezea hajui mimi ni content creator, nikachukua camera nikaeka chini, nipeee change.” She went on.
Seeing that she wasn’t getting support from the rest of the passengers onboard, Michelle Smith then got louder – pissing off everyone to a point she was called a mumama… meaning middle aged woman.
“Alafu kidogo kidogo naskia mtu ananiita wewe mumaa!! I was like wewe ndio nilikua natafuta sasa, I got angry at first like am only 21,am children, although not that didn’t annoy me much because it helped me.” Mitchell shared.
With all eyes on her, Michelle Smith says things got uncomfortable, pushing her to tell off the passengers….A not so good idea as she was forced to apologize later as tension was slowly increasing.
