Philip Karanja has not only produced Click Click Bang but also, A Grand Little Lie which was nominated for the Best movie in East Africa at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Click Click Bang is based on a true story from Abel Mutua’s ‘Young and Stupid’ episodes on YouTube.

Phil had earlier opened up, speaking on ManCave, he explained on how his interest in film came in after he lost his dad adding on how he had to struggle with self-doubt and his lack of self-confidence.

“My dad passed away in Form 2 and it was a blessing in disguise. I used to do well in school not because I wanted to but just to impress my dad,” expressed Phil, “I never used to believe in myself. I used to overwork myself just to prove that I am good at what I do.”
