Pastor Victor Kanyari has been on the spotlight recently for his head-turning antics on TikTok. Kenyans are left both entertained and confused by his recent content.
Kanyari seems unafraid to push boundaries, raising questions about how far he’ll go for attention. Two viral incidents have sparked heated discussions.
During a church service, a female TikToker gifted Kanyari with condoms, panty liners, and petroleum jelly, along with a declaration of love. While some praised her boldness, others found it disrespectful in a religious setting.
Kanyari further courted controversy with a bizarre “exorcism” attempt on a flamboyant gay TikToker named Mpenzi Chokuu. Kanyari’s “prayer” included religious pronouncements mixed with military jargon and gestures, while Chokuu playfully danced. The act was met with amusement by some, but condemnation by others who saw it as disrespectful to religion.
These episodes showcase Kanyari’s knack for generating controversy, this time on the popular TikTok platform. Despite criticism, Kanyari claims his motivations are not for personal gain.
