Tanzania’s boxing sensation Karim Mandonga famously goes by the name “MTU KAZI” is over the moon once again after bagging another win, this comes after defeating the Uganda’s Kenneth Lukyamuzi boxer to win the Pugilistic Syndicate of Tanzania (PST) title.
The Fight took place on Saturday at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi County, Kenya.
The fight went on for quite some time exchanging blows that saw Mandonga having a hard time trying to cope with the Uganda’s pace, but turns out as Mandonga had said that he was here to keep doing what he does best and make history is what thrived.
He laid cold blows at the Ugandan and it didn’t took long he was down and Mandonga took it.
Mandonga indeed lives to his word as he called the shot and delivered.
He had given a green light to the boxer, saying that he should come, as he won’t hesitate to knock him down in seconds.
“I am ready to fight Wanyonyi anywhere on this continent…. He won’t last three rounds, and it is not a bet.”
Mandonga has won another title here again in Kenya after have had won before with his famous fist that he named “SUGUNYO”
In an interview he had previously with SPM BUZZ hosted by Silva Kido he disclosed that he had returned with a new fist that he described as “Mlunga Mbunga” a fist he said that once it has landed on you, you will be no more.
“Sasa nimekuja na ngumi mpya inaitwa Mlunga mbunga imetoka katika jangwa la zahara.Hiyo ngumi ni hatari na ukipigwa kwenye kichwa lazima ufe.”
He then thanked his fans for always supporting him and sticking alongside him.
Mandonga is one of the greatest boxers who is just on his way up as he has beaten everyone who has tried to step up to him. Despite him wrestling in Kenya, he said he still recognizes his motherland Tanzania and will still go back home, although that doesn’t change the love he has for his fans in Kenya.
