A couple who recently captured the hearts of many Kenyans by tying the knot in the bustling Nairobi Central Business District (CBD) during the Maandamano protests is now reaching out for help. The newlyweds, who found love amid the city’s chaos, are requesting generous Kenyans to help fund their dream honeymoon.
Tony Sherman and his wife took to social media to express their wish for a honeymoon, something they have not yet experienced since their unique wedding. They are hoping for support from well-wishers to make their dream come true.
“My wife and I are pleading with any willing Kenyan to sponsor our honeymoon. It’s been one week since our wedding in Nairobi CBD, and we are still hoping for a chance to travel.” Tony shared on Instagram

A Call to Bonfire Adventures
The couple specifically reached out to Bonfire Adventures, a popular travel agency in Kenya, with a heartfelt request. “@bonfireadventures, please take us to Mombasa. It would mean so much to us,” Tony added. Their dream destination is the coastal city of Mombasa, where they hope to unwind and celebrate their love.
In addition to their personal plans, the couple, whose love story began on the streets of Nairobi, is also committed to giving back. Tony highlighted how the streets have played a major role in their journey, and they hope to support street children once they are able to do so.
“We found love on the streets, and it has always been our dream to give back. We want to support street children with love, care, and whatever help we can provide,” he said.
Hoping for Generous Kenyans
As the couple waits for their honeymoon dreams to become a reality, they are hopeful that Kenyans will come through for them. Their story of love and resilience continues to inspire many, and they hope to fill their next chapter with joy, relaxation, and giving back to those in need.
