Kenyan media personality Lulu Hassan and wife to Rashid, has shared marriage advice with married couples.
Speaking at a wedding she had attended, drawing the idea from her own experience, she said that marriage has its ups and downs, and there isn’t a perfect marriage in the whole world; it is only that many chose not to show their dark side.
She advised a couple that she had gone to witness their reunion, advising them and the public not to emulate their way of doing things with Rashid Abdalla. Instead, encourage them to do it their way.
“Marriage haina manual, mtu yeyote asikuambie how to treat your wife, wala bibi usiambiwe sijui bwana ufanye hivi,”
She even went to the point of saying that what they normally say on screen live on air isn’t exactly what happens, and each and every one of them has their own personal issues that they are dealing with, and the groom should consider finding a way to work out issues in their own way.
“Forget about what we say on TV, by the way. Kila kitu inakuanga tofauti. Tutakuambia tu, this is how to go about it, but Omari hawezi kuwa Rashid na your wife hawezi kuwa Lulu,
It does not happen like that. Because nina mambo yangu, but siwezi nikasema mbele ya watu.
Na huyu pia ana mambo yake, na marriage haina manual. Create mwenyewe manual yenu.”
The Duo Rashid and Lulu Hassan work alongside each other in Royal media service together at Citizen tv where they normally do the evening show called ‘Nipashe’ that starts at 7pm.
