Controversial city preacher Lucy Natasha recently took to the streets with her congregants in tow, for a peaceful march to pray for the lost souls in the past demonstrations of rejecting the finance bill.
Natasha and her congregants marched in CBD with their matching T-shirts written ‘heal our land’.
They graced the streets as they knelt on the roads and held prayers.
Sharing on her Instagram, Natasha voiced the importance of unity and harmony within the society.
”Praying for our country during our Nairobi Prayer Walk held within the CBD. Joyful moments together with our ECC members as we held a Prayer Walk within the city of Nairobi. The Prayer Walk, themed Oh Lord, Heal our land gave us the opportunity to spread the message of peace, pray for our country and be vessels of unity and harmony within our society. We continue to declare a peaceful environment for a more united and prosperous nation,” she began.
Natasha concluded by praying for leaders to be wise and guide the nation into prosperity.
”Prayer opens up the vast treasures that God has for a nation and for a people. We pray that our leaders shall make wise, timely and right decisions for the good success of the country. God’s promises for Kenya are for a wonderful and glorious future.”
Natasha’s march comes after days of demonstrations among Kenyans that saw 19 young people lose their lives while several others suffered injuries during their protests. It also comes just 4 days after Ruto decided to concede and withdraw the finance bill; which was the major concern for the protestors.
