LEGENDARY COLONEL MUSTAPHA PLEADS FOR HELP FROM THE PUBLIC.

Kenyan legendary artist Colonel Mustapha has pleaded with the public to help him out having exhausted all his savings on treating his mother and trying to provide for the family.

Speaking during an interview with Mungai Eve, He said that music hasn’t been working for him, thus the reason he decided to take a break from it.

He called out to the public to help him get a job and to be supported with anything that he will be doing.

“Ile kitu mimi naomba wanachi wanisaidie nayo ni kazi…. ili niweze kuendelea kumtibu mama.

Mafans wanisupport kwa ile shughuli mimi nafanya kama nitakua na duka wanipromote. ili niweze kusaidia mama na wale amabao wako na tatizo kama hilo la mama.”

He said that he’s very capable in managing a club and even run a shop.

His life took a turn during the Covid Pandemic period because his mother feel sick and the needs were piling up on him.
He had to provide for his family and his mother, something that was becoming hard for him to manage making him resort to other means.

The sickness that had befallen his mother made him look for other options to get money, even if it meant working on a construction site.

His said that his mother was suffering from a condition that was making her stay in bed and wouldn’t even be able to walk all by herself, they have been taking her for checkups every three weeks, where her body could be scanned and advised on what to do. Something he says takes a lot of money especially on her recommended diet.

He also said that seeing times have changed, and the industry has taken another direction, he lost interest in music leave alone having stiff competition, he just couldn’t record even a single track.

“Ilifika wakati muziki ikakataa…. competition imekua kubwa vijana wako.

Pia ni kama time imeenda mimi siko kwenye mziki si concetrate…. akili imestop siwezi fanya hata kitu.”

He also disclosed that he used to reach out to some of his colleagues to help him out, something that worked on a few while some exploited him including the one who shared his video of him working on a construction site.

Something he has shared that has helped him out, especially by fans supporting him financially and emotionally.

“Fans wamenikumbuka hata siamini.

Hiyo number ya simu yenye walipeana imenisaidia.”

He also shared that he would love to get a therapist as this will help him take the right path. He even lost interest in relationship and always has a hard time trying to concentrate in love.

Mustapha is a legendary Kenyan artist who used to thrive back then having released great hits, like “LENGA STRESS”

He although dismissed any claims that he might want to venture back into music as he now wants to concentrate on getting a stable job that will help him generate income so that he can support his mother and himself as well.
