Former NTV news anchor Larry Madowo, who is currently working at CNN International, saved the life of an innocent worker who was injured in the process of the demonstrations that commenced yesterday.

Larry shared a tweet on his page saying that he acted swiftly and had to stop what he was doing and see to it that the innocent who was not part of the demonstrations received medical attention.

The decorated journalist used a local bodaboda and made it possible that the worker was attended to.

Below is how his tweet read:

“A construction worker near Kamukunji was hit by police. He was not at the demonstrations. I paid to take him to the hospital.”

The cause of why the construction worker was hit still remains unclear, except that he was in a critical condition and was rushed to the hospital.

Larry’s tweet went in, saying that the demonstrations involved both the policemen and the public battling and measuring their strength.

This is the second day that demonstrations are taking place, with not much that has been achieved out of them other than innocent people losing their lives while others are lagging behind in the projects that they had planned for being at a standstill. The demonstrations that are set to end tomorrow have already seen nine Azimio leaders detained for unknown reasons.
