Kylian Mbappé finally found the back of the net in La Liga, scoring a brace to propel Real Madrid to a 2-0 victory over Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The French superstar had previously struggled to convert chances in Madrid’s opening three league matches, leading to dropped points.
Since scoring in the UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta, Mbappé had been unable to find the net in LaLiga, facing criticism in the Spanish press.

However, Mbappé’s patience paid off in the 67th minute when he expertly finished a pass from Federico Valverde. Just eight minutes later, the French captain sealed the deal by converting a penalty, securing all three points for Real Madrid.
The victory keeps the champions firmly in contention for the La Liga title.
