Speaking through a video that she posted online, she explained that one of the reasons was that many people had begun adopting her partying and smoking habits from her days as a secular musician, which she claimed didn’t set well with her.
“Some of the young people started idolizing me for drinking alcohol and smoking because I was living that lifestyle and doing what I was doing way back then, and they decided to mirror the habits I was showing.
I’ve met people saying that they indulged in smoking and partying because they were fans of mine, but people also told me that they changed because of me because they believed in me.” Kush shared.
Kush Tracey made the decision to give up her old ways and turn to God because she was having a greater influence on people’s lives than she realized, and didn’t want to contribute to someone else’s downfall, and—above all—she wanted to make a significant contribution to the world by positively inspiring others.
“I’ve met people telling When you start understanding that the lifestyle you are living is not only yours but that you have so many decisions and lives attached to yours that some decisions you might make impact other people, then you consider the change.” Kush Tracey shared.
