Dancehall artist KRG The Don has reinstated the need for Kenyans to use their heads and not their power.
He has advised Kenyans to refrain from demonstrating in town by telling them to choose 10 people and send them to their area Member of Parliament, to whom they will share their grievances, so that he can pass the message to the President. In other words, he is advocating for peaceful dialogues without violence involved.
“Which one works for you? Kutafuta watu kumi ama ishrini kuenda kwa mbunge wenu waende waongee na yeye, then mbunge apigie president. Ama kuenda town kupigana na polisi fikiria hiyo. At the end of the day, noise doesn’t change anything; violence changes nothing..“KRG said.
The ‘Mambo Imechemka’ hitmaker advised Generation Z to use peaceful ways to solve their matters rather than involving violence, saying they have a lot of information but lack knowledge.
“Ile siku utakua mzee uta understand.“
As for him he is choosing to stay out of demonstrations and protests because he believes there’s nothing one will get from it rather than tear gas from police men and even injuries.

KRG insists that there are better ways to address leaders diplomatically than by marching on the streets to prove a point.
“There is a better way to address our leaders diplomatically, and I’m sure they will listen even more when holding demonstrations in town because you will only meet the police with tear gas and not the leaders you want to address.” KRG said.
