Dancehall artist KRG The Don is in the spotlight once again since his boxing match is near.
We had a brief interview with him in our office, and he clearly said that the reason why his boxing match with Andrew Kibe will not be happening as he had already promised and scheduled it to happen, is because of the ongoing anti-government protests that he says have inconvenienced the match that he has now decided to postpone.
“Nashindwa ni yeye nitapost ama nitapost maandamano, tutapush mbele siwezi kumsamehe huyo mtu…lazima nitamutwanga… I have pushed it, Mbele…..” KRG said.

Why KRG and Andrew Kibe organized a boxing match
Andrew Kibe and KRG announced earlier before that they will be facing each other in a boxing match, days after Andrew Kibe challenged KRG to a boxing match. Through a video posted online, Andrew Kibe had asked KRG to train for a month and then get ready to face him in a ring.
This is when KRG who never wanted to look a coward gave in to Kibe’s request saying he will knock him off.
According to Kibe, the winner of the match will walk away with Ksh 1 million, and the loser will forever keep quiet and respect the winner.
