Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has told the Director of the Department of Criminal Investigatory Mohammed Amin to direct his team to look into the murder of the young Teenager, who died in a mysterious way.
Kindiki has assured the public that no stone will be left unturned as investigations are underway.
“On the matter of the late Jeff Mwathi, have spoken to the DCI Mr.Amin this morning and instructed him to send a homicide team from the DCI headquarters to thoroughly investigate the incident and take the necessary action.”
He also thanked the DCI team for acting and accepting to step in and help solve the problem.
“I thank the DCI for his quick action on this matter. The Homicide team from the DCI headquarters is dispassionate and this will help resolve the claims of collusion at Kasarani Police station where the matter was reported.”
The DCI have assured the public that they will do everything in their power to ensure that justice prevails.
“The public is assured that no stone shall be left unturned in the investigation of this case, and any person found to have been involved in the death shall face the full force of the law.”
The public has also been urged to co-operate with the government and provide any information that might help in the investigations.
The 23-year-old boy had gone to Dj Fatxo’s house after agreeing on a deal to be working for him in designing an office and shop moments later after fatxo had left with some other two women leaving the boy behind in his house together with two other men, reports came in that he fell from his 10th floor apartment.
