Kenyan Content Creator and TikToker Mohammed Alby has finally spoken after one of his videos landed him in trouble.
Speaking during an interview with Nicholas Kioko, he said that he had initially recorded a video of a lady smiling, little did he knew that one day it would blow him up.
Alby had been summoned by the court to drop doing what he was doing, that’s when he went public and wrote a long thread saying that he is quitting from doing what he normally loves and apologized if he made anyone upset as his intentions were only to make people glad.
Asked how he used to shoot the videos, he responded saying that he is a filmmaker and a great graphic designer and that was just a piece of cake for him.
Despite making people laugh and all that he shared, that in some way he was a sad man deep down inside.
Although lately he says that before recording someone, he talks them through first to get their consent so that it doesn’t end up putting him in a critical situation again.
Asked the plans he has for the future, he responded saying that he plans to start pulling stunts from now henceforth.
“We have a pyramid scheme with my team…the content started with pickup lines now we are doing stunts that are making people smile …everything will revolve around the smiles, but now they will keep on becoming big of stunts.”
He lastly gave the secret to making money online is by branding yourself and going to the corp rate world. And advised upcoming content creators to have their own originality.
“The only way you’d earn is by proper contracts from corporates, that’s how we make our living.”
