Kenyan content creator Wololo has shared the main obstacle hindering creatives from making more films in the country.
Speaking to one of our journalists at the premiere of Monkey Business, King Julius said that the main obstacle that many creatives are facing is a lack of capital to implement the million creative ideas they have in mind.
“Budget…. Budget… Uliza hata King Kaka atakuambia, it is very budget-intensive.” Wololo said.
Wololo defended his statement, saying the reason he insists on budget is that those who have created films ahead of them have set the bar for them, which is quite high and they cannot afford to settle for less.
