Khaligraph Jones Shares the Secret to the Success of the Kenyan Music Industry

Kenyan music artist Kahaligraph has shared what Kenyan artists should do in order to thrive and become international artists.

Speaking during an interview with Obinna, he said that the Kenyan Artists should consider working together as a team and drop the ego that exists among them to collaborate and release hits together without looking down upon anyone.

“I always believe in collaborations, by the way. All the A-list artists and even the B and whatever tukue kwa group moja. We have collaborations together tuzishikilie zote alafu tuanze kuzitoa in a span of like 2 months. They will listen to these songs. We will take over. That’s the only way.”

According to OG, working together and putting in the work and doing it as a team, in two months, the Kenyan industry would’ve taken over even YouTube and other streaming apps such as Spotify and others.

He believes if Kenyan artists can come together, work as a team, and record a number of songs together, it will be easier and faster to dethrone the other artists that are trending who aren’t Kenyans.
