Khaligraph Jones Discloses the Reason Why He’s urging Artists to invest

Published on

Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has shared the reason why he decided to tell artists to invest in projects.

Speaking in an interview with our very own Journalist, Silva Kido, he said that he chose to advise artists to consider investing in themselves so that they don’t end up in scenarios whereby they are asking for help from the public, and they have been in the game for quite some time.

“Nilikaa chini nikaona being in my level, ni vizuri kuonyesha wasanii si lazima kila saa tunatokea na paybill numbers. Kitu ya kwanza msanii anafaa kuangalia ni security ya familia yake na yeye mwenyewe that’s why na push wasanii kuinvest in real estate and things of that sort.”

According to him, investing in something goes a long way, as it will put you in a position where you will never lack and will not beg from the public.

He also commended the artists who are building and investing in themselves.

He did shed some light on the idea of banning TikTok, saying that it would be unfair because the Government would be denying millions of people a clear, honest way of making a living because the majority of them depend on it to do so.

He suggested, however, that what the Government should consider doing is regulating the content that is being posted there rather than doing away with it.
