Khalif Kairo has redeemed himself after initially failing his Commercial Pilot License (CPL) test by successfully passing all units on his second attempt. Kairo faced criticism and disappointment when he did not pass his CPL test earlier this year, but he remained determined to achieve his dream of becoming a pilot.
After months of rigorous preparation and dedicated study, Kairo took the test again and passed with flying colours, achieving high scores across all units. “I was disappointed when I didn’t pass the first time, but I used that as motivation to work harder,” Kairo said in an interview.
His successful comeback has been met with praise from many Kenyans. One of Kairo’s flight instructors commented that Khalif had shown tremendous perseverance and commitment to his studies and didn’t let failure discourage him but instead used it as fuel to succeed.

Kairo’s story has since inspired many young, aspiring pilots. “I hope my journey shows others that failure is not the end but a stepping stone to success,” Kairo added.
