Kenyan Socialite and Digital creator Keranta is disheartened after loosing her Instagram account that had over 300,000 followers, what even troubles her the most is not the fact the account got disabled but the period she took trying to build the account she had.
She has however made peace with that went ahead and opened a new account urging the public to share widely.
“And so she said: Let’s begin again. Y’all my other Instagram account got disabled at 366k followers. The past few days have not been easy, because that’s something I have worked on for almost 4 years now but, I am opening my heart to this new beginning and just trusting the process. I hope y’all support me and share widely.” Keranta’s statement read:
The account is currently at 13.1,000 followers and counting.

3 Reasons on how you might loose your Instagram account
1. If you violate the Community Guidelines
Take an honest look at your most recent activity on Instagram and consider whether you broke their rules.
Maybe you didn’t even realize that you violated these guidelines. Instagram doesn’t care. They expect you to know and understand their rules. If you break them, you risk having your account deleted.
The violations might be:
- Engaging in Hate speech, bullying or abusive language
- Spamming, like submitting too many comments or spam liking comments and photos
- Posting illegal or graphic images
- Spreading misinformation
2. You Used a Third-Party App
Many Instagrammers use third-party apps to schedule posts and grow their accounts. More especially in growing numbers, that also can be the reason why.
3. You Were Hacked
Instagram accounts get hacked – a lot. You’ll need to contact Instagram to try getting your account restored, and you want to do this as quickly as possible.
If the hacker does delete your account, you may not be able to restore it. Instagram states that if a friend deletes your account, they have no way to help you get it back.
