Jowie Irungu was earlier today sentenced to life in prison following alleged murder of Monica Kimani, a business woman he was friends with.
From the reports shared on social media, it is believed Jowie Irungu was the last person to visit the late Monica Kimani at her apartment in Lamuria Gardens shortly after she arrived from Juba, south Sudan.

However a few hours later, her family could not reach her forcing them to visit her apartment where they met her lifeless body in a bathtub.
Jowie Irungu was then linked to the brutal murder which also saw his ex fiancé Jacque Maribe dragged in as an accomplice.
Fortunately Jacque Maribe got to walk out free leaving ex fiancé, Jowie Irungu facing murderer charges.

Verdict issued
5 years later and Jowie Irungu finally faced his fate as High Court Judge Grace Nzioka earlier today sentenced him to life imprisonment.
The verdict having been issued on live TV left a section of Kenyans with mixed reactions.
