Popular Kenyan actress Catherine Kamau, known to fans as Kate Actress, recently marked a special occasion: the 18th birthday of her son, Leon Karanja.

A Mother’s Reflection and Joy

Kate took to Instagram to share her emotions and offer heartfelt prayers for Leon. She reminisced about motherhood, acknowledging the joys and challenges of raising him since her teenage years at Kampala International University.

“Overwhelmed with emotions today,” Kate wrote. “Happy 18th birthday to my big baby, Leon. In these times, seeing so many young men face injustice, I just want to hold you even tighter. Thank you, God, for bringing him to this milestone. We did it, my love!”

A Mother’s Prayers

In her touching message, Kate listed six prayers for her son’s future:

Safety and Protection: Kate implored God to shield Leon from physical harm, emotional distress, and spiritual negativity.

Wise Choices: She prayed for Leon to have the courage and wisdom to make decisions that lead to a fulfilling life aligned with God’s plan. “Grant him foresight to see the consequences of his actions,” she pleaded.

Character and Integrity: Kate yearns for Leon to develop strong moral character, emphasizing values like honesty, kindness, generosity, and resilience.

“May he be a man of his word and take responsibility for his choices,” she added.

Kate also prayed for him to have a heart for God and get committed to God’s care.

She expressed her undying love for him despite being a single mum.
