Justina Syokau Speaks on Why She Hasn’t Slept with anyone for 10 Years

Kenyan gospel artist Justina Syokau has opened up about why she hasn’t slept with anyone for a gap of 10 years now.

She opened up, saying that she opts not to indulge in intimacy because she is born again and chooses to live a Godly way, clarifying that there’s nothing wrong with her body as many are claiming online by sending her funny messages mocking her.

“Kusema ukweli, I cannot say nina shida yoyote mwili yangu iko sawa kila mahali. Na for the 10 years, sijakua na mwanaume kwa tendo.

Watu wanasemanaga hapana si ukweli, lakini mimi sijawahi na si ukweli. Kile kinanchangia nisiweze kufanya tendo ni kwa sababu, I am born again; I cannot just be telling people to come out of sin, and I am sinning.” Justina clarified her statement.

She believes that as a Christian, you have to lead by example, hence the reason why she chooses to abstain and lead souls to Christ.

She shared the challenges she undergoes from the online community, telling her that she’s the way she is because of her body, which is way big, adding that she has received quite a lot of criticism from the public, and because she’s Christian, she chooses to let it slide.

Adding to that, her public figure can also not allow her to engage in careless intimacy with anyone.

Justina also highlighted the matter, saying she is abstaining because she hasn’t found the right person to marry. Adding that as an artist, it is good to have a partner who understands your field of work, “Ukiwa msanii lazima upate partner ambaye anakupenda unconditionally. Mimi ni mtu wa kila mtu na hugiwa na kila mtu… I am hugged by many people if you don’t like that itakua vita,” Justina shared.
