American Rapper Justin Bieber has called off the remaining dates of his justice world tour, the reason being his health status.
The Canadian’s representatives and team in collaboration with the company sent emails to the affected regions telling them that the shows won’t be going on as scheduled and instead promised to issue a refund.
“We regret to inform you that the Justin Bieber shows planned to take place at the 02 arena have been cancelled….. We understand you will be disappointed and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
Justin Bieber postponed the tour last summer, making the announcement through his twitter handle, where he said that he was going to prioritize his health first.
“Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partly paralyzed. As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour.”
Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a painful rush that comes up around the ear or, in other words, It’s when shingles outbreak affect the facial nerve that’s close to the ear that leads to paralysis of some parts of the face.
It’s a very rare infection but should be treated within the first three months according to medics if someone is to stand a chance to recover.
He went on adding that after having a talk with his team, doctors and family he thought to give it a try and performed 6 live shows, although that didn’t end well as he had expected, and so he figured it would be better off he takes a break.
“After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team. I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me…. After getting off-stage, The exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now. So I am going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok, from touring for the time to rest and get better.”
He then concluded with thanking his fans for sticking with him.
