Kenyan Gengetone artist Jua Cali has responded to people who are criticisizing his latest album saying that it will not trend.

The Gengetone legend responded using his Social media page on Instagram saying that those who are hating on his latest project are just filled with hate and frustrations that they don’t want to imagine Jua cali surpassing them.

”Fans wangu Don’t be fooled na hawa haters trying to push a certain narrative Landscape ya music industry imechange.”

He admitted that the music industry has changed and he thought it wise that he should roll with it reason as to why he decided to release the tracks that he has in his new album ”UTU UZIMA”.

He went on saying that despite the trolls from people, his album is really doing good and is trending on all streaming platforms.

”Currently my first single ‘WAJAKOYA’ is big (Trending) on TikTok ….Fans are listening to the album through different platforms numbers za UTU UZIMA Spotify, iTunes AudioMark etc so far ziko sawa.”

According to him he believes that the more they keep trolling him, the more they help in driving traffic thus recruiting more listeners to tune to his music.

He also disclosed that it took him 3 years to record the album and that there shouldn’t be any reason as to why the album will miss to be a banger.

He called upon his fans to be firm and not be persuaded otherwise by outside community as they should consider listening to his new project as it’s getting approval by many.
