Lang’ata Member of Parliament Phelix Odwiour has revealed how Tanzanian artist Diamond transformed his life.
Speaking during an interview with one of our very own journalists, Nthenya, He said that he got in touch with the Bongo artist because they had been given a gig together at Malindi.
Apparently, the one who had called them in that area failed to meet the end of the bargain by not paying them, hence leaving Diamond and him stranded.
Diamond, the first time we met, we had been called for a gig at Malindi. It was called Mr. and Mrs. Coast or something.
Sponsor akatutoka mimi na Diamond tukapanda voxy mpaka mombasa. Alikuwa na ngoma kama mbili tatu wasee walikua wanajua. That was like 10 or 12 years ago. Alikua naa ngoma tatu hana security hana anyone but nilikua na yeye.”
Diamond Platnumz made a promise to Jalang’o that he would never forget the good he did in his life. It is then that Jalang’o has always been friends with the Tanzanian artist.
Asked how he is able to build strong relationships with people, he responded by saying that he always doesn’t cut people off, especially if they do good in his life; he always keeps the person close no matter what.
“I don’t burn bridges. I always make sure that every person who has been around me and has had a positive impact on my life remains a part of it.”
In Conclusion: advising people to emulate the same as burning bridges will not only cost them, as they may lose out on a lot of things.
