Jabidii Shares The Reason As To Why Kenyan Music Industry Has Collapsed

Kenyan Gospel artist Jabidii, who is commonly known for his hit song ‘Vimbada, has disclosed the reason why Kenyan music has collapsed.

Speaking during a press interview, Jabidii said that the reason for the collapse of the Music industry is because people are not supporting their own as much as they are supporting other artists all over the globe, as well as shifting their focus to artists who are hitting headlines and forgetting the others.

He also shared the reason why he has remained relevant even when others have backed off, saying that the secret is the level of creativity.

“Gospel unajua tunaimbia God, so lazima ukue more creative secular unaeza imba anything haijalimit creativity yako… so one thing ukiangalia msee yeyote alitoka gospel aliishiwa na idea akaona hapa nishaimba ile kitu najua wacha niende hii side ignine.”

Went on narrating that the gospel is a big deal as it needs a lot of good creativity.

He also shed some light on Stevo Simple Boy’s matter of being ditched by the management, advising the public to always consider having facts that they can ask an approaching managing team to ensure that they have set the record straight before signing papers because, if they fail to do so, they will only be taken advantage of.
