Ian Oure Okwemba popularly known as Iyanii gave Kenyans a piece of himself labelling himself as ‘the messiah of the music Industry.’
The ‘Leta pombe’ song hit maker yesterday introduced his new goat-like hairstyle to signify “Greatest Of All Time,” artist.
“I am the messiah of the music industry, because we’ve had so many people, I feel like I’m stepping in a different way. I am here to do things that have never been done, and in the entire world and the Horn of Africa, I am here to bring different.”
The artist went ahead to share reels to signify his incoming ahead of his incoming new song which he says Kenyans should be ready for on Thursday this incoming week and his stand on people commenting on his new hairstyle and the ongoing online trolls.
“I have seen people giving my hair all sorts of names. I am a GOAT and one of the greatest of all time. In as much as I am a human being, I am a GOAT. It shows my strength in the music industry. It also shows Africans rocked this hairstyle in ancient times. I have heard people think this hairstyle is I’m thirsty, I knew people were going to talk about this hair,” shared Iyanii.
Iyanii is a popular artist whose musical journey kicked off officially in 2018 after releasing his first ever single titled “Bamba pia.”
Last year, 2020, Singer Arrowbwoy signed Iyanii into his record label ‘Utembe world,’ after which they launched the label together with the artiste at a press conference. Arrowbwoy at that time indicated his desire in giving back to the community by helping other people.
“I have been helped a lot by people to be where I am and I felt like I needed to do my part in giving back to the community by helping others just it was done to me,” stated Arrow Bwoy.
Iyanii mentioned that his desire was to make it hit big, he said he will go down in Kenyan History as the greatest in the music industry.
“I have been desiring a good life because I didn’t come from a good life. I desire a good life. I also want to ensure to my friends are also successful. In life, you must move up with friends, when you make it you don’t have to make it alone, they also need to be part of that success,” said Iyanii.
