Kenyan Celebrity and Dj, Pierra Makena has shared details about the new deal that she got at NRG Radio.

Speaking during an interview with our very own Silva Kido of SPM BUZZ, She said that NRG Radio is a big company that has got branches outside Kenya including Uganda.

Sharing the reason as to why they picked celebrities to feature in the show and control it, is because the team that runs the station will be out on an holiday for a while.

She decided to clear the air because of the tons of congratulatory messages she’s been getting from her friends.

Makena said that the deal she has at NRG is not permanent, because when the owners will return they will hand over.

“It’s not a permanent job…….. NRG Radio are celebrating their 5 years anniversary and they have their branch in Uganda…….. and this time, they decided to have an holiday and by the time they are back we are off air.”

She although said that they don’t mind working even if that’s the case as they will give it their best shot and maybe who knows they might be considered afterwards.

She advised current radio stations to change their way of broadcasting and work with what is selling at the moment or else they will loose their audience.

“Right now, it’s a digital error people are taking over, social media, TikTok and all these things you have to keep it that way or you will end up loosing your target audience.”

She also advised graduates who are jobless to consider creating their own opportunities and not pray for someone to be fired to fill up as they might be frustrated.

“Stop thinking of getting out of positions for you to get that position…….look for ways to create…… look for what talents you have….

If it’s being a DJ, If it’s being an artist work for that…Don’t try to get someone off job for you to get that there’s so much opportunity.”
