Wanjiku Mburu popularly known as Mama Baha has not given up on finding her brother and cousin who were abducted in Mogadishu in March 2014.
- According to Waikiki Mburu, her abducted brother reached out to their family after 10 years and 7 months of being captive.
Although it’s been 10 years and 7 months since then, Wanjiku Mburu remains hopeful that the two will find their way home hence the reason she continues to plead with government to intervene since their family has no means of locating them.
Speaking in an emotional video shared on her social media pages, Wanjiku Mburu revealed that now more than ever – she hopes for the return of her brother following a recent phone call he made to their dad, informing him that they were alive but still held captive in Somali.

With the good news, the mother of one shared an update on her socials, hoping someone in the government or anyone with resources to bring the two back would intervene – as her family remains in prayer that all will workout in their favor.
Mama Baha who is a media personality also revealed that the news brought mixed feelings of happiness and sorrow seeing that there wasn’t much they could do to wake up from the nightmare haunting them.
Details of the abduction remain known to the family alone and as far as the details released – there is no ransom demand from the alleged abductors.
