Stella Katiwa, popularly known as Miss Katiwa is a very Hardworking, self-driven lady with good personality who believes everything can be achieved, if you work your way up. Miss Katiwa spoke about her favorite dog that goes by the name Dexter, On an Interview with SPM Buzz where she highlighted quite a handful of Information that one should take into consideration If you own one or rather would want to.

Miss Katiwa explained that her dog is 2 years and 7 months old, which is a He. Her mom inspired her to own one despite her own interests as well, seeing her mother with animals made her own one. She also said that the dog gives her company, especially when she’s all alone in the house.

She advised that, one should ensure that before they take in their dogs to ensure they are vaccinated against a deadly virus that goes by the name Rabies. And one should always carry the dog’s papers when walking around with him so that you are not harassed, Her dog just settles in with people’s routine.

Dexter likes taking Chapatis and chicken meat, and he is maltse dog. She also said that in cleaning him you should use a dog’s shampoo that is effective as it is a pest control shampoo as well, and to abstain from using the regular soap and detergents we use like omo, because it shades off their fur.

Deworming is also mandatory and taking him to hospital should be at least once a month depending on how he feels.
Asked if she would like to own other pets, like cats, she said that,

“Me and cats, we don’t see eye to eye it’s not that I don’t like cats, but cats are quite difficult, paka anaeza kugeukia kila time, dogs are extremely loyal,”

She concluded with boarding that is also a good deal to let him mingle with others, one can try it out If their pockets are well loaded and training takes patience and a lot of consistency, in showing them the right thing a little discipline would do and with time it works out.
