There are some health facts that you’ve never really been told exist, and below is a compilation of them.

You can’t stick Q-tips in your ears.
A Q-tip is a short stick with a small amount of cotton on each end used for cleaning, especially the ears. Under no circumstances are you allowed to put it inside your ear because you risk an earwax impaction or expose yourself to some serious damage to your ear canal by scratching as you dig around looking for those waxes.

The wax will eventually come out on itself; there’s no need to risk it.

There’s a way to file your nails.
There’s a very complicated process to trimming your nails healthily. First, you need to soften your nail, and then you proceed, but even so, the best way to avoid hangnails and save yourself a lot of pain is to cut directly across the top of your nail. Don’t mess with the sides!

Your nails reflect your health.
The health of your body can be seen in the health of your nails. According to research, if you have pale nails, then you could be suffering from anemia. White nails mean liver issues, and yellow nails could be fungal problems.

Don’t ignore these small facts; they are very important.

There’s a wrong way to wash your face.
You shouldn’t be scrubbing your face when washing it.

What you want to do is use lukewarm water and apply cleanser with your fingertips to gently clean yourself. You should limit washes to just twice a day for the best results.

Consider cleaning the back of your ears.

Almost everyone forgets this as much as they do when it comes to attending to the ears when bathing.

Failure to clean the back of the ear results in the accumulation of dirt that leads to a gross smell and other infections that might cost you a great deal to treat.

Wear fitting shoes.
Getting a pair of shoes designed for your feet will change your life. Most people just grab whatever’s on the rack, but it turns out improper shoe fits can affect every aspect of your life and body.

You could actually deform your feet if you wear footwear that’s too narrow. If you’ve ever wondered why you’re always getting blisters, calluses, and ingrown toenails, it’s your shoes.
